PDF One is a tool that runs on your phone. Your documents are yours — the developer never receives, stores or reads them.
Remove Ads is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Nothing renews and nothing is charged again. Refunds are handled by Google Play under Google's own policy.
The app is provided as is. Keep your own copies of anything important before editing it.
These terms govern your use of the Android app PDF One — Scan, Compress, Convert (com.nakcont.pdfone), distributed on Google Play by an independent developer contactable at [email protected].
Installing or using the app means you accept them. If you do not, uninstall the app — that ends the agreement, and nothing is retained about you either way.
Google Play's own terms apply to the distribution and to any purchase, alongside these.
You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use PDF One on devices you control, for personal or business purposes.
You may not resell the app, redistribute a modified copy, or present it as your own product. The app's own source and branding remain the developer's; the open source components it uses keep their own licences, reproduced in full under Open source licences in the app.
Everything you open, create and export stays on your device. The developer has no server, receives no copy, and cannot see, recover, or delete anything for you.
Two consequences follow, and they matter:
Placing a drawn signature on a document is a formatting operation. Whether the result is legally binding depends entirely on the law that applies to that document, which the app makes no judgement about.
The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. What the ads SDK collects, and how to change or withdraw consent, is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Advertisers and their content are not endorsed by the developer, who does not choose which specific ads you see.
A one-time purchase, not a subscription. There is no recurring charge, no renewal date, and nothing to cancel. It removes all advertising from the app and stops the advertising SDK from being initialised at all.
The price shown in the app before you buy is the price charged, in your local currency, including any tax Google collects on the developer's behalf.
Payment is processed entirely by Google Play Billing. The developer never sees or handles your payment details.
Refunds follow Google Play's standard policy. Google grants refunds directly for requests made within 48 hours of purchase, through the Google Play refund process. After that window, requests go through Google Play support, and Google decides the outcome. The developer does not operate a separate refund scheme.
If the purchase does not unlock — for example the app still shows ads after a completed payment — contact [email protected] before requesting a refund. That is a fault to fix, and fixing it costs you nothing.
The purchase is tied to your Google account, not to one installation. After reinstalling, switching device, or clearing the app's data, the app asks Google Play about your past purchases by itself on first launch and applies what it finds. You are never asked to pay twice, and you do not have to do anything.
If that check cannot reach Google Play — no connection at the time, for instance — open Remove ads and tap Restore purchase to run it on demand.
The app may change between versions: features can be added, altered or removed. The document scanner depends on Google Play services and is unavailable on devices without it — Images to PDF reaches the same result without that dependency.
Nothing here promises that a specific feature will exist forever, except this: Remove Ads, once bought, keeps removing ads. It will not be converted into a subscription or repurchased later.
The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
PDF processing is not always lossless: compression reduces image quality by design, and conversion between formats can change how a document appears. Check the result before relying on it, and keep the original.
To the fullest extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the app — including lost documents, lost data, lost profits, or a document that turned out not to be legally sufficient for your purpose.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you actually paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim — which is zero for the free version, or the price of Remove Ads if you bought it.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death, personal injury, or fraud. Consumer rights that apply to you under your local law are not affected by anything written here.
Uninstalling the app ends it, at any time, for any reason. There is no account to close and no data held by the developer to erase. A Remove Ads purchase already made remains attached to your Google account.
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, where the developer is based, without affecting the mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in.
These terms may be updated as the app changes. The effective date at the top always reflects the current version, and material changes will be published on this page before they take effect. Continuing to use the app after that means accepting the updated terms.
